With almost 3,000 MW of operating residential, commercial and utility-scale solar electricity generation in Canada, there is now an operating track record to be learned from warranties maturing and in some cases expiring. Insurance claims activities provide knowledge as to how losses can be avoided or mitigated but also bring the potential for rate adjustment.

Attend this presentation from Grant Robinson, Managing Director Calgary Head Office, Jones Brown Inc and Lance Fairlie, Underwriting Officer, Chubb Insurance to hear the types of losses that have been claimed in Canada to date, recommendations for loss prevention and mitigation as well as the importance of business continuity planning including critical procedures that should be addressed in a business continuity plan.
